This Privacy Policy explains how Focusmeter (“Focusmeter”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information. It applies to the Focusmeter mobile app for Android, the website at focusmeter.app, and any related services (together, the “Service”).

We do not sell your personal information.

1. Information you provide

  • Usage data you enter. Focus sessions, timer settings, task labels, and any custom configuration you save in the app. This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to Focusmeter’s servers.

  • Usage and device data through Firebase Analytics (how you interact with the app, plus device and operating-system identifiers).
  • Crash and diagnostic data through Firebase Crashlytics.
  • Device information (device model, OS version, locale, and time zone).

3. Purchase information

Focusmeter subscriptions are processed by Google (Google Play). Google manages your subscription entitlement and stores your subscription status and transaction identifiers. Focusmeter does not receive or store your payment-card numbers.

We use information to:

  • provide and maintain the Service;
  • manage subscriptions and entitlements;
  • diagnose crashes and fix problems;
  • understand usage and improve the product; and
  • comply with legal obligations.

The website at focusmeter.app uses Google Analytics. These analytics cookies load only after you accept them through the cookie-consent banner shown on the site; if you do not accept, they are not loaded. Your focus data is stored locally on your device and is not held on Focusmeter’s servers. You can delete it at any time by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app.

Your focus data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. For analytics and crash data processed through Firebase, we rely on Google’s security infrastructure. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

10. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

11. International data transfers

Analytics and crash data may be processed on Google servers outside your country. We rely on Google’s safeguards for such transfers.

  • Access, edit, or delete your focus data directly in the app or by clearing app data on your device.
  • Manage app permissions through your device settings.
  • Withdraw website analytics consent by clearing the site’s cookies.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes we will surface a notice in the app or on the website. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
